Hiking Through the African Bush
Hiking Through the African Bush
For a real African adventure you can don your hiking boots and hike through the Mulangaji Elephant Reserve with a tracker and KWS Park Ranger. This used to be the preserve of the coastal elephant and vast hearts once roamed the planes. Today sadly, the elephant population has been much depleted and it is unlikely you will see one on your hike. However, you will see some spectacular scenery and a glimpse of old Africa, what it was like in the old days. The Reserve is 700’ below the house so many of our Guests arrange for the Landrover (possibly with a picnic) to meet them by the river to avoid the long climb back. The day costs $12 each for park-entrance fees plus $150 for the Landrover, the KWS Ranger and your tracker)
